90th Any and All Dog Show

Tryon Riding and Hunt Club’s Any & All Dog Show Celebrates its 90^th Year!

Tryon Riding and Hunt Club’s (TR&HC) popular Any and All Dog Show (AADS) is fast approaching! This year is even more special-this will be the 90^th Annual Edition – so come join the festivities on Nov. 5^th at Harmon field. Let’s celebrate our dogs’ loyalty, antics and affection – no pedigree is required and all dogs are welcome!  Registration for this just-for-fun show is set for noon Sunday, November 5th, at Harmon Field’s basketball pavilion.

“We are so excited about our 90^th Any and All Dog Show!” said Nancy Wilson, Board member and AADS Committee Chair. “What a great way to engage the community by showing off our beloved dogs and at the same time, give back to a local charity through our donation!”

The AADS has a proven track record of family fun bringing big smiles to everyone and this year will not disappoint! Special guest Dina Zaphiris is a dog trainer and behavior expert with 30 years’ experience who has written a book, been featured on TV and trained dogs for medical research. She will wow guests with her tricks and incredibly disciplined dogs. She will also hold a Q&A session after her performance to assist with training issues. Plus, there will also be food, face painters, balloons and more!

Hattie Hodge won the Best Costume and Best in Show classes last year, “I loved being around all the other dogs, seeing their talents and costumes. I can’t wait for this year!”

Participants and canine entrants have many classes to choose from.  As always, ribbons will be awarded to winners in each class, but this year’s winners will also receive a 90^th anniversary medallion.  To help your pup prepare for the show, the following is a list of classes:

• Biggest and Smallest
• Best Trick
• Best Costume
• Dog that looks Most Like Owner
• Best Rescue Dog
